Bathroom tiling and waterproofing Glasgow, done to standard.
We handle bathroom tiling and waterproofing in Glasgow ourselves, because most bathroom problems trace back to two things, poor tanking and rushed tile work.
The honest version
Tiling looks straightforward until you watch a specialist do it properly. Setting out, cut planning, full and balanced courses, level grout lines, neat trims at corners and edges, this is what separates a five year tile job from a fifteen year one.
Underneath it all sits the waterproofing. A correctly tanked wet area is the single biggest factor in whether your bathroom holds up over time. Our tilers and our tanking work are the same team, so both are planned as one connected job.
The difference our own team makes.
Tanking systems, not patchwork
Liquid or sheet membranes installed as a complete system, with the matched primer, tape and adhesive.
Set out before a single tile is fixed
We plan cuts and balance courses so you get full tiles in eyeline and tidy edges everywhere they matter.
Big format and stone savvy
Large format porcelain and natural stone need different adhesives, levelling clips and care, and our tilers work with both.
Movement joints in the right places
Silicone where the wall meets the floor, around trays and at internal corners, so the grout does not crack down the line.
A clear picture of the work, before it starts.
Every project is different, but a well run job tends to follow the same calm rhythm. Here is what to expect from our team.

- 01
Substrate check and prep
Plaster, board or screed checked for flatness and stability, primed with the right product for the surface.
- 02
Tanking the wet zones
Shower walls, floor and any splash areas sealed with a tanking system before any tile adhesive goes on.
- 03
Setting out and fixing
Tile layout planned, datum lines marked, then tiles fixed with the correct adhesive and spacers.
- 04
Grouting, sealing and finishing
Grout to match the tile type, silicone movement joints, trims to corners, surface cleaned and polished.
Built around what suits your home.

Ceramic and porcelain
The everyday workhorses. Hard wearing, easy to clean, available in almost any look.
Large format tiles
Fewer grout lines, calmer walls. Needs experienced hands, the right adhesive and levelling clips.
Natural stone
Marble, limestone, slate. Sealed correctly to handle bathroom moisture without staining.
Patterned and feature walls
Encaustic, herringbone, brick bond. We set out the pattern so it actually lines up at corners.
Tanking only
Already have a tiler lined up? We can carry out the tanking on its own and hand over a sealed, ready to tile wet zone.
Retiling and regrouting
Strip failing grout and silicone, or replace tired tiles, without touching the rest of the room.
Anything else on your mind?
If your question is not here, add it to the quote form and our fitters will answer it before we visit.
Inside a shower enclosure or wet room, yes. Around a bath splashback or behind a basin, a good silicone seal is usually enough. We tell you honestly where tanking is needed and where it is overkill.
Sheet membranes are bonded to the wall and floor as a single fabric layer, great for floors and large continuous surfaces. Liquid membranes paint on and cure to form a seamless layer, useful around fiddly detail. Most jobs use a combination.
Yes, plenty of homeowners do. Mention it on the quote form and we will quote labour only. We will also sense check that what you have ordered is suitable for the wall or floor it is going on.
