About us and what we do
Glasgow Bathroom Fitters is a trading name of Stone Group, a sole trader based in Glasgow. We are a bathroom fitting company. We design, supply and install bathrooms across Glasgow and the surrounding towns using our own team, and we are the contractor for the work we quote.
Quotes and the contract
An enquiry through this website is a request for a free design visit, not a contract. After we have surveyed and measured the room, we give you a fixed written quote. Work begins only once you accept that quote in writing, and the quote and any agreed variations set out the price, the specification and the schedule.
Our work
Our fitters are time-served and fully insured, and our workmanship is guaranteed. Where a building warrant or other consent is required under Scottish Building Standards, we will tell you at quote stage. Some work depends on what is found once a room is stripped out, for example hidden pipework or failed substrates, and where that changes the scope we agree the change with you in writing before continuing.
Our liability
We are responsible for the work we carry out under an accepted quote. We are not responsible for work carried out by anyone else, for materials supplied by you, or for pre-existing defects in the property that we have not been engaged to put right. Timescales are estimates given in good faith and can be affected by access, supply and conditions found on site.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
No guaranteed outcome
Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee availability or that we will be able to take on your project. We will tell you if we cannot.
Cost
The design visit and the written quote are free. You pay only for work you have agreed in writing.
Use of this website
The content on this website belongs to us and may not be copied or reused without permission. You agree to use the site and our service lawfully and to provide accurate information in your enquiry.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
