Archie McLeod
Archie has spent close to 40 years in the bathroom trade, starting his apprenticeship back in 1987 in Glasgow's Southside, where he learned the basics in tenement flats long before terms like wet rooms and smart showers existed.
Over the following decades he worked his way up through plumbing and fitting roles across the city, eventually running his own small team for years before deciding the time was right to build something bigger. In 2026, he brought together a group of people he trusted and founded Stonewater Bathrooms.
He's particularly well known for his confidence working in Glasgow's older housing stock, where uneven walls and original pipework can catch out less experienced fitters.
As CEO, Archie sets the standards the whole team works to, but he still likes to get on site whenever he can, mentoring younger fitters and making sure every job carries the same level of care he learned as an apprentice himself.
